Solange Knowles x Getty Museum

Beyond 8 partnered with Dropbox and the Getty Museum, in collaboration with IAMSOUND, to support Bridge-s, a multidisciplinary performance series curated and programmed by Solange Knowles at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. Premiering over two days in November, the series brought together live performances, film screenings, and artist talks exploring the theme of “transitions through time.” Powered by Dropbox and Getty, Bridge-s transformed the museum into a site of contemporary cultural exchange. The program featured new, site-specific work by Gerard & Kelly, choreographed for the Getty Center’s architecture and developed from their Modern Living series, with Solange collaborating as director and composer on an original score, Bridge-s, featuring Cooper-Moore.
